Labor Day Weekend has arrived to Seattle and with it came PAX Prime (Penny Arcade Expo) where thousands of gaming enthusiasts filled the halls of Convention Center, Paramount, Red Lion, Grand Hyatt and Sheraton Hotel. The faire took place in mid-August (one of the more pleasant days this summer) at Kelley Farm in Bonney Lake, WA. It run over the period of three weekends, each featured different outfits: pirates, fairies and finally, royal masquerade. After witnessing last years Dirty Dash in Kent I’ve decided to join the fun and signed up for 3 big events this year: Warrior Dash, Dirty Dash and Gladiator Rock’n Run. All of them involve some kind of obstacle run (mud, barb wire, nets, ropes, tires, etc) and have varying distance of about 5k to 6k. Seattle, usually grey and covered with clouds was flooded with rainbows as the annual Seattle Pride Parade took place. Thousands of supporters of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) Pride marched through the downtown promoting equality & sexual diversity. Below are some photos from the event.
