After witnessing last years Dirty Dash in Kent I’ve decided to join the fun and signed up for 3 big events this year: Warrior Dash, Dirty Dash and Gladiator Rock’n Run.

All of them involve some kind of obstacle run (mud, barb wire, nets, ropes, tires, etc) and have varying distance of about 5k to 6k. That’s about 3.2 to 3.8 miles or something like that – when will US finally join the rest of the world and use easy to follow/convert/calculate/understand metric?? 😀

Yesterday’s event, the Warrior Dash, took place in North Bend, WA – huge area with thousands of people, music scene, beer garden, some sponsors and a big pile of muddy sneakers.

I took some photos before the run, then used small point& shoot in an underwater housing to record and take photos during the run itself my wave was at 12:30pm).

In two weeks – Dirty Dash 2012 in Tacoma, WA. This time I won’t be running it alone as my wife Kama will be joining me for the run in the dirt 😀
