{"id":2196,"date":"2014-11-13T09:47:30","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T22:47:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/derekrak.com\/travel\/?p=2196"},"modified":"2023-02-16T09:07:20","modified_gmt":"2023-02-15T22:07:20","slug":"jammin-to-reggae-jamaica-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/derekrak.com\/travel\/jammin-to-reggae-jamaica-2013","title":{"rendered":"Jammin&#8217; to Reggae (Jamaica 2013)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve started our adventure with Jamaica in Montego Bay, where we stayed in Sunset Beach Resort Spa and Waterpark.<\/p>\n<p>The resort had its own waterpark and offered a kit of entertainment in the evening, but was located quite a distance from the Montego Bay itself (I guess that&#8217;s the reason behind an all-inclusive hotel).<\/p>\n<p>Zo\u00eb was amazing everyone by fearlessly jumping into a pool and swimming underwater in a hot tub. _DSC2908\" width=\"180\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><p class=\"jig-HTMLdescription\">2013.11.26 @ 20 52 32 - _DSC2908<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/noscript><\/div><br \/>\nAfter a few days in the resort we were ready to explore other regions of Jamaica, so we&#8217;ve rented a car and headed west to Negril.<\/p>\n<p>Negril itself turned out to be quite interesting &#8211; filled with big resorts (like Sandals), beautiful beaches .. and plenty of weed smokers \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Derek was approached a few times and offered a joint but the offer was declined. Drugs are bad &#8230; mkay? The resort had its own waterpark and offered a kit of entertainment in the evening, but was located quite a distance from the Montego Bay itself (I guess that&#8217;s the reason behind an all-inclusive hotel). Zo\u00eb was amazing everyone by fearlessly jumping into a pool and swimming underwater in a hot tub.
