Lost in Dunes

While still in the US I signed up for a 10k obstacle run called the True Grit. The run took place north of Sydney which made it harder to get to since we didn’t have the car.

A plan was born to rent a car and use it to get to the race AND to visit someplace in the New South Wales. And that’s how we’ve ended up in Nelson Bay / Port Stephens area with its enormous dunes.

And on our back we’ve visited Featherdale Wildlife Park in Blacktown.
