Quite an unusual event took place on January 19th 2012 as Seattle experienced ice storm, where freezing rain covered everything with a thin layer of ice. I didn’t miss the opportunity and took some interesting photos of frozen flora.

That week we also lost power (thankfully it was restored 30 hours later) and the weight of the ice broke a tree in our backyard 😀
