I’ve been playing around with infrared photography since late 2006, ever since I got my first digital camera – Nikon D80. In the beginning I used the Hoya R72 infrared filter which, combined with the long exposure created some interesting effects, though the usage was limited and required a tripod (30s+ due to strong built-in IR blocker). Few years later I’ve decided to convert my camera to Infrared-Only and used LifePixel company to do the Enhanced Color IR […]
Traveling with kids can sometimes be a tiresome experience (especially with two little devils :-), but it’s also a quite rewarding one. In Phnom Penh (Cambodia) both Aidan and Zoë were eager to explore nearby temples and it turned to be a perfect opportunity to snap some photos of them just having fun.
Spring arrived in Sydney and with it opportunity to participate in in photo shoots. Here are few photos from a Street Fashion Meetup I attended in early October. Model : Ashima Narwal HMUA :Preet Shroff Clothes: Susanne Ramlawie of RedCarpet Runway Photos taken around Martin Place in Sydney, NSW.
Last Saturday a group led by Jay met at the Hargraves Lookout near Blackheath, NSW and spent over 5 hours photographing Milky Way. Here are some photos from that night: Camera: Nikon D810 + Samyang 14mm f2.8 Processing: Lightroom (Temp: ~3900K)
Another weekend, another event – this time Cherry Blossom Festival which started last Saturday. The Festival takes place in Auburn Botanic Gardens between August 22 and August 30. The Botanical Gardens were full of people and it was really hard to take a photo without having hundreds of people in it. Some people were dressed in traditional Japanese kimonos, while others did cosplay. Here are some photos:
Last Saturday night we’ve visited Centennial Park in Sydney, where an orchestrated event took place – light painting organized by Peter Solness. Hundreds of members of the public helped create this magical experience – waving and swinging LED lights. Photos below were made possible by using long exposure (30s or so) 🙂
It’s been almost 4.5 years since Zoë got her first passport and it’s about time to get it renewed. Aidan’s passport is still valid, but we’ve decided to renew it too to make things a bit easier in the future. Instead of going to a photo shop and getting a sorry excuse for a photo (most of them are quite bad) I’ve decided to have some fun and take photos myself. I’ve set up lighting in our living room and invited family for […]
Last Saturday I’ve met with a group of fellow photographers in SUNSTUDIOS Australia located in Alexandria, NSW. We’ve spent several hours shooting photos of different models (both male and female) – some of whom I remembered from the previous photo shoot at Studio 1A. Below are some photos from the event – more will be added soon 🙂 Model: Elice Craig Model: Paige Model: Rachel Model: Rachel
